This week was a massive win for streaming subscribers, with major platforms dropping long-awaited sequels and brand-new originals.

Fans are already praising the first episode for its return to "classic Trek" exploration with a modern twist. Meanwhile, Netflix had a busy Thursday with the release of Ransom Canyon Season 2, bringing more high-stakes drama to the ranch.
